I actually kind of like Schanuel in the 9-hole. Basically like a leadoff hitters hitting ahead of Rendon and Trout but most likely gets one at bat less a game

Mini-slump for Trout. 6 for his last 35. "Only" 10 K during that stretch, so at least he's still not whiffing like he did in spring training. Hopefully some hits start falling in for him.

Dude, there are no “must-win” games this year. No effort was made to compete. This is a rebuild year whether anyone associated w the Angels will say it out loud or not. 
 

This team is built to lose 90 games. As long as the kids get experience, it isn’t a lost season. Hopefully Anderson keeps dealing and gets dealt for prospects.
