The OFFICIAL "Glen Complains About The CHARGERS" THREAD

My best friend is a Padres and Chargers fan. We've traded barbs over the years. Last season he got to pimp his playoffs while the Angels were out of contention before the All Star break. 2021/22 the Rams took it all while the Chargers took it in the shorts missing the playoffs. Didn't they lose to the Raiders to get knocked out of the wildcard? Sad.

This year the Rams have had trouble beating anyone while the Chargers play Jeckle and Hyde football. Injuries are part of the game while inconsistent performance seems to be part of the Chargers on going playbook for decades. Even the Shottenhimer teams couldn't put four quarters together with a stacked lineup of talent.

So celebrate the wins but please spare me the end zone dance when it's a team that is worse than the Rams this year and it was far from a blow out. Speaking of which, Rams VS Chargers New Years day. If you want to talk injuries, there should be no excuse for the Chargers not winning big. The Rams front line is Swiss cheese, they have no running game (Akers 559 total yards) and the defense looks like it is playing prevent for four quarters.

Chargers better win or St1ck may have even a lower self esteem problem than he has now.

Stopped reading at Blarg.

Glen would be turning over in his grave if he could see how you two trolls have desecrated this place with your douchebaggery.

Wait, when did @Glen die? I thought he was taking a break from the board to track down the guy that murdered a hiker out in the desert, leaving 7 dollars strewn on the ground as his calling card.

Chargers still gave up too much on the ground yesterday, but got the meaningful win.  Wasn't sure if they'd try to rest guys and look ahead to the playoffs since they had the playoffs locked in, but they played well and moved up a spot in the playoff positioning to #5.

That could be super important as #5 goes on the road to J'ville/Tennesse vs. a roadie at Buffalo, KC or Cinci.  I'll take that any day, even on a day where I remember back to an early season thrashing at the hands of J'ville.  Nice work, Bolts.

Being the lone Jacksonville fan in a lounge full of Charger fans, the second half was as exhilarating as the first half was exasperating.

Props to you, dude. I've been on both ends. The Chiefs had the second biggest meltdown and I was here on the board when it happened. Feels good when you're on the other side, so props.

I almost left at halftime. When the Jags got points before halftime, I decided to stick around just to see what happened, because Jacksonville could hardly have played worse in the first half. When it was 27-0, I was thinking, I waited five years for this?

Yeah, I left the stream for the UFC fight then saw it was 30-20 and popped back on. There was a chat box associated with the stream and I'm one of those guys that I want my team to win more than watching to watch a team lose....that's some loser shit. But there was this one dude talking mad shit and kept saying the Chiefs suck (even though they haven't beaten us since before Covid) and annoyingly kept saying "Bolt Up!!"

Watching that dude eat his words and melt down made for an entertaining evening. I'm not vindictive, but seeing assholes eat shit is a little rewarding.

There was one guy in particular at the lounge yesterday who was particularly obnoxious. He wasn't content with just being happy about his own team, he had to make derogatory remarks about mine - as if I couldn't see what was going on. His expression at the end was worth hanging around for.

I was thinking it was Georgia vs TCU. What an amazing turnaround when it looked like San Diego owned the Jags playbook.
