This is why people shouldn't scoff at run differential or 2nd/3rd order wins.  A few weeks ago, it was pretty clear that the Angels' record was misleading.  Yankees, too.  Things tend to even out. The Tigers are better than their record shows.  The Rays are, too.    

 

The AL playoff race could be very interesting, especially when it comes to the wild card spots.
