I would go berserk if my 29 year old nephew who played one year of JV baseball stepped into batters box in the majors and battled through 7 pitches to eventually not strike out but managed to put a chopper in play.  And, I would shower him with praise not questioning anything about his approach.

News to David Fletcher, you are not my 29 year old nephew.  The Cinderella story was over a long time ago.

It's easy for me to miss David Fletcher, the person.  The player... not so much.  I wish him well.

Max Stassi was clueless at the plate and behind the dish this past season, so good riddance. 

Don't know what happened to Fletches bat but he fell off quick...I don't doubt a team like the Braves can get that swing cleaned up and he can be semi-succesful in the batters box...Fletch was an awesome infielder though, really a lot of fun to watch...too bad he didn't work out for us, I wish him the best.

Stassi didn't play this past season because his new born son was facing huge medical issues.

Oh that's right, it was the season before in '22 where he was decent through June, then took a dump the last 3 months of the season. 

These last few Angel seasons have become somewhat of a shit-stained blur.
