There is another problem with all of it.

IF your pitching philosophy has changed and let's say your change is more mechanics based for overall exertion for Velo and violent follow through to force the spin with explosion to the plate

Then the mechanics need to be the same you can't get on Top of either a fastball or a slider, spinner or curve. When your front side is leaking, pushing the ball to home plate, while spinning off the mound. It's impossible and we then see shoulder injuries, elbow injuries, and oblique injuries. Then your training needs to be that way as well. Core rotation, lower half

So, yes, there are issues. It's more not attacking the strike zone early in the count and down. And then changing the eye level to hands/shoulder height and then going back down.

An elevated pitch at the top of the Pitch Trax strike zone is belt high. And is crushed. That is not an elevation anyone would teach, instruct, nor force on anyone.

Same issue with lifting in a swing. You generate that at contact and finish not prior to contact that would be swing up and under the ball. Fly outs, pop ups, strike outs bottom of the bat ground balls. Injuries based more on core and obliques.

Yet, the Halos batters continue to use ridiculous torque on their swings.

What good does the long ball do when you can’t get runners on base?

Halos - $2.7 billion

Everything else - $2.1 billion

Stop cheaping out on infrastructure, it’s time to make this a strong franchise top to bottom going forward.

Was just looking for this post yesterday but couldn't find it.

I was thinking, why the hell would you stay if you're Moreno? Your team sucks, everyone hates you, you could sell it for billions, etc.

But then you realize he's a billionaire even without the team. Then it makes sense.

He's beyond rich. Owns a team as a toy. Like an old car he swears he'll restore someday (but probably wont).

We're kind of screwed.

More like the guy that wants to compete at the Concourse de Elegance in Pebble Beach with the Chevy he bought in high school and wonders why it's rejected, he has the Holly carb and USA mag wheels.

He remind me of Hugh Hefner.

I've read stories that the Playboy mansion was falling apart. Super old and outdated.

Old dude with money that lost a grip on reality.

He was slipping into bankruptcy, the internet was killing his brand and print copies weren't selling. Near the end he put the Mansion up for sale under the condition he could live out his last days there. He got no offers. It was in disrepair simply because he wasn't really able to afford a complete restoration, upkeep of the grotto and pools along with landscaping was a bundle in itself.

But you can't say he didn't have a damn good time while he was able to. Arte is having his time but they are not good times. I can't reason why he would want to fight all of the litigation battles, the stadium upkeep, change in the entire revenue structure of baseball as RSNs start to crumble. Last year was the time to get out and walk away. But he is a stubborn mule.
