Estevez couldn't find the plate, that is why people were bitching. He had the bases loaded the previous inning and had a miracle triple play to bail his ass out. Then walked the bases loaded again, including a couple of wild pitches and Nevin still left him in there to blow the game after 42 pitches and only 12 strikes.

I understand why people are upset. I grew up with 4 man rotations. Pitchers threw 150 plus pitches a game. I did like Canning last night being pulled and not even at 90 pitches. Canning knows what a weak BP halos have. Maybe Kirby knew he had little left but that is Seattle's problem.
