Should the Angels sign Moustakas this off season?

i'd sign him at most to a two year deal. we need a firstbaseman next year, especially since walsh seems to have lost whatever production he had to offer. moose can also play third, and that unintentionally seems like it will continue to be a need throughout the season.

if we don't sign moose, i'd consider resigning cron.

i think it'll all be stopgap stuff anyway until shauneul gets here, assuming he keeps going as he's gone so far. he looks like he could be in anaheim a year from now.

I sign both Cron and Moose to 1 year deals. First and Third be covered. Have Neto, Rengifo, Drury, Rendon, Moose and Cron for INF. Have Trout, Moniak, Ward and Adell in OF. Catchers O'Hoppe and Thaiss. If Ohtani leaves 5 in rotation Detmers, Sandoval, Canning, Anderson and Silseth. Bullpen 8 pitchers.

I would let the season play out but, based on what Cron has done, I'd be more inclined to sign Urshela, if he's healthy....

I like what Urshela did with the Angels but I'm rather concerned that with a fractured pelvis he is going to lose a lot of power and hitting ability. The more I think of it this could well still be a problem with Rendon who had hip surgery 2 years ago and has never looked the same. Especially with his power dropping like a rock off a cliff.....
