Mentioning this POS in the same breath as Gene Autry is a disgrace.

His crowning achievement, since buying from Disney, was lowering beer prices a couple of decades ago.

He's gonna have to offer Free Beer to everybody attending games next season, in the hopes that they'll overlook the fact he let one of the greatest, if not the greatest, players of this generation, not only walk away, but do so while the Angels get Nothing in return.

But hey, Angels fans will finally get an opportunity to watch Ohtani play baseball in October.  They'll just be doing it on their couches at home, instead of at Angel Stadium.

And Autry’s crowning achievement?  I’m not defending Arte but if you are critical of Arte’s tenure why not be critical of Autry?  In your first day posting it’s obvious you are a results based guy.  So why not criticize the lack of results under Autry.

Speaking of the beer prices, I don't think they're even around anymore. On my last several trips to a game I could not find that $4.50 cup of beer anywhere, and believe me, I looked.

I had some coffee. I'm not paying 15 bucks for a beer, sorry.
