It was quite a relief coming into the game knowing that neither Velazquez, Walsh, nor Rengifo would come up with runners in scoring position.

This fact alone probably motivated the team and gave them a jolt of confidence.

I checked the score while out to dinner with my wife and was very pleased with them being up 3-0.

Just looked up the rules and unless I'm reading it wrong, that can't happen until the 9th inning and the winning team has to be up by 10 runs or more. So there's technically a chance =P
