For those saying Vladdy didn't play long enough here, Ryan played less than 30% of his seasons in Anaheim.

That's less than Vladdy did.

I didn't say " he played less seasons in Anaheim" than Vladdy.

There's a difference.

If I'm going personal favorite Angels Mount Rushmore, here's mine.

Chili Davis, Vladimir Guerrero, Devon White, Mike Trout

That discussion is more fun, my personal favorites Mount Rushore would be;

Grich, Downing, Percival, Trout.

Just missing the list; Finley, Joyner, Salmon, Erstad,  Edmonds, Anderson, Carew, Pettis

Non players; Autry, Scioscia, Mauch, Dick Endberg, Drysdale, Rory Markas, Al Connin and Ron Fairly

There's no real good 4 for a Mount Rushmore but Trout and Scioscia gotta be there.   Anyone saying Percival must be forgetting Francisco Rodriguez. Way better pitcher than Percival ever was. Led the majors 3 times in saves with the Angels including MLB record that still stands today. (only 6 full seasons with the Angels but same as Vladdy)

Rodriguez had to be one of the sloppiest closers I’ve seen in my lifetime. Yes the guy got saves…however it was rare to see him go 1–2-3.

He received over 10% HOF votes in his first year of eligibility, more than Wagner did his first year.

While Krod may not end up being a HOF, calling him one of the sloppiest closers you've ever seen sounds way over the top.

What were the original criteria for the Presidents chosen for Mt Rushmore?

I gave a place to GA for successful longevity, (most games, hits, bases, singles, doubles, extra-base hits, and a few more), but now I'm thinking that may be a mis-step, as I doubt longevity was a factor in the original monument.

If it's about things that are game changers, then I'm swapping out GA for Ohtani.

Had a fantastic ERA and when he came up in 2002 his slider was the nastiest i had ever seen.
