He may at some point replace Phillips or Renfroe on the roster, unless they start hitting.
We won’t carry 2 OF hitting below the Mendoza line all season long.

Taylor Featherston style??... yeah the Angels have done that before #MathisLine

Dana was filithy last night! Averaged 94 on the fastball, that changeup as times looked like a plus pitch. He's a guy to keep an eye on.

Erla might be called up sooner than later. I think he ends up in the Bp, but the stuff is electric!

Rada, I'm excited about him!  If he has a strong year, He could be the number 1 prospect in the system

bachman, get the start today, lets see how he does!

Bryce Osmond making his debut tonight for the high A dust devils.

A 15th rounder from Okie State.  6'3, 183 lbs.

Had some control issues in college but here is a report I found:

https://www.prospectslive.com/prospects-live/2022-mlb-draft-top-400-prospects-h8bxx

Big fastball touching 96. Extremely quick arm and athleticism on the mound suggests more is certainly coming. Firm slider, 83-86 generates plenty of swing and miss. Offers a fringier curveball as well. Changeup in development. High-octane arm with starting pitcher traits. Despite the big stuff, Osmond has gone through some streakiness on the field getting hit harder than one would expect.

some other blurbs talk about 'physical projection' for him as he's 'long and lean' with plenty of room to fill in his frame.

They didn't get him into a game at all last year yet he's starting the season in high A even though he's more of a college project.  He clearly hasn't gotten the internal lift we've put on guys like Dana and Madden but the org must think pretty highly considering he's starting a level above them.  Granted, the halos are uber aggressive with their guys and he's a year older than Madden but they tend to only be aggressive with the guys they really like.

Anyway, another guy for us to put on the radar.

just saw the inning.  what a mess.  I will mention that just before the error by Jackson (literally he clanked a fly ball) the pitch that joyce threw was clearly in the strike zone and would have been strike three to end the game but the ump called it a ball.  It was literally naked gun level bad call.
