Correra opting out, should the Angels be interested (or go after him)?

How gives you the indication that he's going to Philly?

Have seen the reports that he and his wife prefer to be out east, Stott wasn't that impressive in his rookie year, and I think Bryce recruits him to be his teammate again (if you value the former teammate angle).

Plus it's a Dombrowski type move

The Dombrowski move would be Bogaerts.

He had him in Boston and Bogaerts fits their MO of “rakes, but can’t play defense.”

I don’t think they purposely go after bad defensive players. I think they’d rather have complete players but they won’t pass up a good offensive player because of a defensive deficiency.  If they didn’t value defense they wouldn’t have traded for Marsh.

If Correa is willing to take another 3-4 year deal, then i absolutely think signing him would be the smart play.

He's only 28, and is solid both defensively and offensively. A short term deal with high AAV seems the move most beneficial for the Angels, as they avoid a long term albatross contract. If he were to make the playoffs with the Angels, I'm sure the cheater narrative would fade away a bit more.
