Left field and depth.  Might could use a closer and a set up guy.

Agreed.  This team could definitely use a solid LHH LF.  Depth is a very key part that we have been lacking for years.  Trotting out Rojas, Gonselin, Suzuki, etc etc has cost this team a lot of games.

Rengifo has had a nice run, but I'd like him more in a super-sub role, a la Chris Taylor - where he'll likely start a full complement of games, but rotates around to help give guys games off.

So, I guess, I'd say a LHH LF, a middle infielder (not one of the star ones, but someone who can help capably plug up a spot for a year or maybe two), and perhaps a 1B if they feel that Walsh won't recover.

They need someone who can hit and play 1B/3B

Agreed.  Thaiss could fill that role, but if this team wants to be a playoff contender, it'd likely be worth bringing in a veteran who can assuredly do that.  The positions we need to upgrade are actually rather cheap, which makes me optimistic that this team can be significantly improved with a combination of somewhat better health from our stars and a few modest free agent moves.

I think I've heard that every year since 2015.

True, lol.  But we do have a different GM and player development team in place now than we have before.  Given how good Atlanta has been at producing a consistent winner, I'm trying to be optimistic that Minasian can bring that same culture over here, while recognizing that it takes a few years for a GM to create his team and help gradually overturn the roster (both in the MLB and MILB) to get the results they want.
