I was exaggerating to make a point that they are a horrible defensive team. I really doubt they could of been much worse on D last year. Each night is a blooper reel in the outfield.

I was making the point they are bad on D. Not making a case for actually being the worst defensive team. Its called exaggeration. Plus, they couldnt be that much worse even if they were technically worse if you look at stats (I dont know).

Why does Jeremy Reed still have a job?

Maybe it's not Jeremy Reed but the organizational philosophy determined by Minasian and his braniacs?  I would be shocked if Jeremy Reed works independently of what Minasian et.al thinks is best.

The hitters are flailing at pitches well out of the zone and watching obvious strikes go by.

Something is causing that, to where they are threatening the MLB record for most times striking out in a season.

Defense was worse last year. I think Adell's comical fielding makes it look worse than it is. The offense is honestly some of the worst I've ever seen. They have 3-4 games every week where they don't even score a single run until the late innings when the game is well out of reach. They have one hitter (Rengifo) who isn't mired in an awful multi-month slump.
