That is very strange... Ortega's previous appearance was May 21st. Tepera's previous appearance was May 22nd. I hope Tepera is not injured. We desperately need a win tomorrow and with Sandoval going tomorrow I think they'll get it.

Sandoval better pitch at least 8 innings then

If was a disappointing loss but the team did fight hard to come back. The defense was superb overall. I was at the game and apart from the deafening non-stop noise between innings the game was fun, tense, and close until that horrid at-bat by Velazquez at the end. Can't he look at a pitch or two with the bases loaded?! Lorenzen settled down after the first two innings and put up a quality outing. He took forever between pitches though so that contributed to a four-hour game. Of course, the bullpen then came in and ruined everything. Nothing new there. Trout's 2-run blast was beautiful, the marine layer couldn't quite knock it down.

Trout has hit a home run at something like the last five games I've been at. I need to go to more games maybe? Nah, probably just a coincidence. But they've won only two of those five games. It would be nice to be able to talk to your friends between innings but it's impossible to be heard over that pounding rock music. Yeah, I'm an old man...

One more negative. Cold $6 hot dog and no more $4.50 cup of beer. Arte's beer prices are gone forever. The Trout and Rendon contracts took care of that. $15 can of Modelo but it is 24 ounces, so there's that. I had the $4 coffee and it was pretty good actually. Fireworks were neat as always.

you can tag the runner or the bag and maintain a force out.  you only lose the force out if the runner behind them is tagged out prior to any other runner.  There is never a runner behind the one running to first from home so it's always a force out no matter how you get them out.  The runner can only score if you break the chain of continuous force plays.

a runner on 1st and third.  Ball is hit to the OF and the runner between 1st and 2nd falls down.  The OFer gets it back to the infielder and he tags the fallen runner.  The guy from third has long since crossed the plate but in this scenario, the run wouldn't count.

Last night saw Lorenzen pitch well, we saw Duffy have the game of his life, Trout had a really good week last night, as he got on base five times.  But the best part of last nights game was University College.  A year from now we won’t remember this game but we will remember University College.

It was HOF worthy.

I'm just disappointed that I wasn't here to witness it live. I just might have had something to say about it.

This is 2013 all over again with blown leads late in the game.  Maddon needs to forking go.

Happy Hour Drinking GIF

Or is it like 2014 where they eventually landed on a combo of Street, Smith, Jepsen, Grilli that ended up being very good? If your bullpen is going to suck it’s better that it happens in May that September
