Great for the young dude, and this team has brought me so much joy so far this season, long may it continue. Hitting has been top notch overall, and pitching has been better than I first thought it would be. Long way still to go of course, but something special brewing I can feel it.

So out of curiosity - how much of a role do we think Wallach played in this no-hitter?  Obviously the focus is on Detmers, but surely a catcher plays a significant role in one too.  Is Wallach an excellent game-caller?

Game was just a real pleasure for us as fans.  As you said, basically nothing but positives - Detmers (obvi), but all of the above was very encouraging too.  We have scored 24 runs in two days against a top team in the league without our second best hitter. Of course, this comes right after we almost lost 2 of 3 against a terrible team.  That's baseball, eh?
