Sandoval has a plus fastball, paired with a plus-plus Change, his slider at times flashes plus and that Curve is at besy Above-Average. He a number 2! and I would say he is currently in the lead for a CY young. Key with Sandy will be his emotions and command of his FB and Change. IF it's on he's close to unhitable

Detmers sort of faces the same challenges Sandoval did (and still might). He lets his emotions get a little bit to him and prone to a big inning. Stuff can get a little wild - not hittable, but too many walks - and a bit of difficulty being efficient and deep into games.

But that could change quick.

Let's not forget that both Sandoval and Suarez were brought up to the majors before they were ready because Eppler couldn't figure out how to get free agent pitchers that weren't garbage.
