Surprised they sent Trout with just one out and a tonight hot hitting Rendon coming up.  But it did take a quick retrieval of the drive and two good throws to get him out at the plate.

I was watching him running full speed and saw he just touched third as the relay took place and I knew he was a dead duck.

The Guardians catcher was blocking the plate a little too much, I wish they’d get rid of the Posey rule, bc Trout would’ve knocked his socks off like that.  But he tried to go around the shin guard, and that’s a run.

I appreciate his defensive skills (didn’t realize he was that good honestly), but I can’t say I like him—nor do I like how Minasian skimped out on acquiring a balanced SS, but I guess it’s working out so far.
