For the young players I think Cameron Young and Theegala are two names we'll be hearing a lot about going forward.

I don’t know if you saw it @St1ck, but Theegala made almost the exact same shot from over the green at 16 that Tiger made in 2005.  It was a great shot.

I like him a lot also.  He was also playing with his twin brother, Tony Finau today.

I saw it and it was awesome. Dude has serious talent. And to double down what Lou said he seems like a likable guy.

@Crampknees quit playing because of a back problem. I was looking forward to a re-match but it seems he can't seem to get it fixed properly to continue playing.

Fuck you doing bringing me up when Zalatoris was the topic. I am no Zalatoris.  I do need something similar to him on the 2-5 discs.  I can survive so put it off until after my kid gets married and since I am not a pro golfer it wasn't urgent other than it sucks.

I did, however play just recently.  I was the majority of the time ball in pocket. I counted over 20 bunker shots and that was not counting how many out of the same bunker but in that many different bunkers, do the math.  One ball went diagonally through the cart of the people parked at the hole with me as I teed off. I never lost a ball because it never went far enough.  I am ready for a rematch and gladly race you afterward.

I read the story and I applaud him for calling the infraction on himself….but my only question is, why would a course that is being used as a US Open qualifier not be in the most pristine condition it most possibly could be?  I mean seriously, you still have aeration holes on your greens?  It doesn't even matter if they are in the final stages of healing.  He repaired what he thought may have been an old divot, which isn't an infraction.

That's nuts.
