I’m not sure how to phrase this. When I hop into the shower I nearly always take a piss first thing and then 3-5 minutes later I piss again. That second piss is clearly bottom of the barrel piss and I always get some discomfort above my dick. Why?

Maybe a bladder issue? That could explain the discomfort. I always take a piss before showering too but I do that before I hop into the shower
