DeGrom and Kluber both debuted in MLB at 25. Scherzer at 24. Then took a little time to become studs. Take a breath and let the kid figure himself out

Kind of hard to talk about last season's defense when from the third week on the attrition of starting players began and their subs were never supposed to leave Salt Lake until at least mid season. What can you say, these guys we threw out there because we had no choice didn't do the job?

And if it was that it would be understandable, but that isn’t what was wrong with the defense.  The problem was putting them at a disadvantage because of where they started each play compared to the hitters tendencies.

No. They did a worse job because of the defense.
