Hope for 2022

That’s the main focus now.

Lots of talent on the farm, let’s see how things pan out the rest of the season and into 2022.

Whether you want you believe or not, this will be an 8 game improvement over the last full season they played in 2019 and that is with just about every minor league prospect in the lineup, either on the mound or in the field. 

It is a clusterfrack but at least the prospects are getting their rookie jitters out of the way and should perform at a higher level next season when they break spring training camp as full time players.

Hope? We've been feeding off little else for years, hope is easy, hope is complimentary ketchup on the side before you've seen your burger. Confidence is what I'd like to taste, a great big fat triple decker with all the trimmings burger of a team just oozing with confidence.

I'd just like one relatively healthy year for our guys.

The last few years I have said "Well, maybe if a couple of these one-year rental pitchers work out and at least one of the pitching prospects is good..."

Before 2022, I will say the same thing, but also add "and maybe if Trout plays more than 140 games for the first time in six years..."

And I really fucking hate that.
