I mean.  Maybe something like this could work if they’re sending back a couple of *good* prospects.  The Angels do have a bunch of outfielders.  Not all of them are going to play for the Angels.

To be fair, most of us were pretty reasonable when Newcomb had his stretch of a few good starts in June 2017. Just a couple people were having panic attacks.

The Angels had no young arms in the minors and terrible major league depth. Wasn't worth trading a potential Ace for a defensive specialist at the time.
