I do.  It's already sucking with the crime skyrocketing in the last 2 weeks.  We'll see if week 3 is going to be an increase or a decrease.  The report comes out tomorrow.  But with the number of assaults I've been seeing on my Citizen app (never seen assaults previous to the wakening), my hopes aren't that high.

Things must be getting better.  Crime in my area went down from 47 to 37.  Still higher than the previous week of 15, and the week before of 5.  But I guess baby steps, or the baby's are tired and needed their naps.

they're like presidential assassination attempts - we don't usually hear about the ones that are stopped ahead of time, only the ones that actually take place. i'm going to guess that a steady police presence on campus has thwarted several plans.

but there's also the issue of just the day-to-day stuff, like fights and drugs. it isn't a one-dimensional job for them to only prevent shootings.

how do you think public schools are going to be if there isn't any law enforcement on campus?

In the LA area, they have stopped quite a few.  Quite a few threats on facebook, later caught with a gun.  Or trying to bring a gun onto campus.
