Pitchers available to be traded later in the season?

When season starts could these pitchers become available which do you want and for what? Jon Gray, Johnny Cueto, Jeff Samardzija, Chris Archer, Caleb Smith, Matthew Boyd, Danny Duffy, Joe Musgrove, Robbie Ray and Ross Stripling. Your answer must be in form of a trade.

You can add Trevor Bauer, Sonny Gray and if the Mets are not going to be in the top 3 in the division behind the Phillies, Nationals and Braves they may deal Stroman, Thor or Matz. 

I'm sure there will be others too. If the Rangers are not in the top three in the division they may deal Kluber or Minor too.

So we could get a decent pitcher during season. Artie will be right and Eppler get a new contract.

I keep thinking Clevinger is the guy.  And I think the Angels have enough prospects now to get him without dealing Adell.

So how do you build a trade now when you don’t know how prospects will progress or if your pitching targets are indeed available, are healthy and aren’t on a team that has a chance to compete for a division title or WC spot? Way too many variables right now to venture a guess.

If they want Archer I think they can get him now for a package of guys like Jam Jones and Suarez.

I’ve never really understood the infatuation with Archer. I get that he has good stuff, but the dude hasn’t had an ERA under 4 since 2015 with the Rays. 
 

I’d love to potentially get someone from the Indians like Clevinger who we’ve obviously talked a lot about, but maybe someone like Carrasco could be had for much cheaper. He’s only a year removed from being REALLY good.

The Mets pitchers are the only ones that interest me, and Kluber.  I doubt the Rangers would trade Kluber in the division, though.

I’ve been wanting Stroman since the Mets got him. He would be a huge addition to this staff, although his K numbers aren’t pretty. We all know how Eppy loves his high K percentage

I think if the Mets fail to be the playoff team "everyone" thinks they should be, Thor could be had. Same can be said with Cleveland and Clevinger.
