I heard on the TV today that there are testing locations (I think in Texas?) that people are queued up for hours to get in. People want to get tested before Thanksgiving so they can feel good about inviting their family members over for dinner.

Anyway they were saying, that a lot of people are testing positive and are completely shocked, because they have no symptoms whatsoever.

Not surprising since months ago they were saying the number of estimated cases could be 10X or more higher than reported because of people that were asymptomatic based on antibody tests they did in some areas.  The good news is those people aren't feeling ill but that just goes to why people need to continue wearing masks and social distancing because a lot of people who don't know they have it can still be spreading it.  

MT I hope you and your wife's symptoms don't get any worse.

That was one of the first things that Cuba started doing when they declared themselves a Soviet socialist republic.  They'd promise kids things if only "they would do their part for the revolution" in order for the state to then help their parents be educated.   I do hope nobody gets shot/jailed.

They also went about systematically destroying religion by taking kids into a room where they were met with a kindly state official who would then ask the kids to "ask God for candy"..  The child would be forced to ask for candy out loud then sit there while the official stared at them and nothing happened.  The same snatch would then ask the child to "ask the revolution" for candy and then hand it to him/her once they did....  My sister was the only one who was old enough to go to school but she had it happen multiple times.

We were good citizens and neighbors 8 months ago.  And this crap has continued ever since.  Remember the if we do our part for 2 weeks, we will have flattened the curve and this virus will have gone away?  Then it became 3 weeks, and the power mongers realized they could control forever, and now we are on month 8. 

Let's put it this way.  Man is again trying to control nature.  Nature is saying FU. 

I'm not saying not wearing a mask, social distancing, washing hands, temperature checks isn't necessary.  But closing everything down, putting people out of work, pretty much widening the wealth gap in the process.  That's just stupidity on a grand economic scale.  These same idiots that are closing everything down, are the same idiots begging the fed for money to bail them out because their idiotic decisions are making their municipalities hundreds of millions, and in the case of the state, billions in the red.
