That doesn't bode well. I typed that kind of hoping it was an outlier, but with out checking the stats for certainty. That was dumb. But it also doesn't really change my stance on him. I don't want to pay to find out if he can turn things around.

I was referring to: 

"Who did he insult?   Calling you out for not actually responding to what he was asking isn't anymore insulting than ignoring the question -- if you think it is maybe you're the one tilted about Cole going elsewhere..

Also, it's pretty hypocritical to cry out about insults when your response includes the line "so you’ve drunk the analytic Kool Aid."  I guess believing in facts should take a back seat to a good case of "the feels" in your world and anyone who doesn't share your POV, is what exactly?"

I'm less concerned with the home and away numbers than I am the erosion in his neutral park (road) data...

12 - 4.40  (this was entirely HR driven -- 18 road HRs to 4 at home)
13 - 3.12
14 - 2.20
15 - 4.15
16 - 3.39
17 - 2.26
18 - 4.97
19 - 5.29

The numbers in bold were years where his road data was better than his home numbers.   He's been a really really good pitcher home and away -- he's never been a product of his home environment which is why when you see such a stark spike in that road ERA it's a reason for worry.
