Ausmus ain't no Kapler. 

Brad is much better at managing a bullpen than Gabe, more decisive in his in game decisions as well. But Gabe commands a clubhouse in a way that doesn't seem to fit Ausmus' style. 

You'd really think Ausmus would be a better manager than he is. He's a genuine guy, very even keeled, very intelligent. Former catcher, commanded a pitching staff well enough to carve out a long career. But it just seems like something about him clashes with the job that seems like it would be a natural extension of his personality and background.

I was leaning more towards not getting the manager everyone wanted.  SF fans are pissed!!!  We weren't very happy when Ausmus got hired.

Brad Ausmus is not good at managing a bullpen.
