Has anyone here ever driven cross country and visited baseball stadiums along the way?

Yes, I have been told about the HOF and to go to Joe’s KC BBQ or Q39 before the game. I had not planned on going to the Museum but I might add that to the list.

The Louisville Slugger factory is a really fun place to experience. Hope you can make it!

For the life of me, I can't imagine how visiting the Louisville Slugger factory can be so enjoyable. I mean, they make bats.

It's not life-changing, but it's a cool experience.

Source: I was in Louisville (Lou-uh-vull) for a conference several years ago, and checked it out. As a baseball fan, it was an entertaining way to spend an hour.

Havent heard "loo-vull" in years.

Thanks for the bad memories.

My dentist has been doing this for years. He only has Tampa/Tropicana Field left to complete the entire MLB. He was supposed to go last week, but it was cancelled due to the Hurricane. He has to wait until next April/May before he completes his task.

Dentists are the CA firefighters of the medical community.

it was interesting to see the process. on our tour, we got to hold a couple of the bats fresh off the rack, including one of arods. you also have the option to order a bat to your own specifics.

my favorite part was seeing all of the signature stamps they use. they had a special display for players who had been inducted into the HOF using a louisville slugger bat. that was pretty impressive to me.
