Has anyone here ever driven cross country and visited baseball stadiums along the way?

I made a couple trips on business to KC back in the 80's

Went to a couple of games at (back then it was Royals Stadium)

Had a great time. I remember being impressed that you could buy a beer while sitting in the stands, something you couldn't do in So. Cal.

You could stumble home from the ballpark to the Adam's Mark hotel.

Did I mention I had a great time in KC.

This stadium is awesome btw

KC is a great ballpark. Only problem is the location. I prefer ballparks located in cities so you can walk or take public transportation. Go have a drink after, etc

It’s not my favorite. It would be worse to come as a visitor than as a home stadium.

I'm with real fans finally lol. Lots of people here and the giveaway is a Stan Musial/Red Schoendienst Bobble Head.

Before the game I went to a place called Pappy's Smokehouse and got a brisket sandwich and it's absolutely delicious.

Some real fans started leaving 5 min ago. I saw at least 20 in my section alone.

Getting to Busch Stadium was not as easy as the other two. I had to pay twenty-five bucks for parking(highest was $35 and cheapest was $20) and then there was a long line to get tickets so I went to a kiosk and the cheapest ticket I could get with a seat was 40 bucks. They had standing room only for $25.

I will say that going to these ballparks can reinvigorate your love for baseball if you started feeling down about it. I'm in North Carolina now so my baseball journey is complete but I had a blast and great experience in all 3 parks.
