I'm passively following the Knights-Oilers game right now. Not sure what is up with this team, they are basically .500 with what was supposed to be the best team that they have ever put on the ice.

They are back. Well back. Texas is one of those teams that people just rush to overhype, even with nothing to back it up. See equally 6-5 Nebraska for another example. Both teams were well within the top 25 in most preseason polls, even though Nebraska won four games last season, and Texas was 8-4, losing to Maryland for the second consecutive season and getting mashed by USC.

That legendary Washington State defense did their best to UCLA the Oregon State game last night, giving up 29 points in the fourth quarter. They turned an 11-point third quarter lead into an 11-point deficit by four minutes and change remaining. WSU had to score two touchdowns in the final two minutes plus, with the winner coming with two seconds left.

As an Oregon fan, I'm actually kind of glad for the loss. Now they just need to beat Utah in the tournament, and I get to go to the Rose Bowl again .
