I've seen plenty of games there. Hell I even watched a game there back when Fullerton had a football team, but nothing surpasses the first time entering the stadium to eat "The Grandaddy Of Them All."

At least until Legarrette Blount haa a late fumble that cost the Ducks the game.

Saw four LB State/UCLA games in the Rose Bowl during the 1982, 1984, 1986, 1988 seasons.   1982 game was UCLA's regular season debut in the Rose Bowl.   Nearly beat UCLA in 1984, 17-23 loss after two LB State passes into the end zone were intercepted in the second half.

The 1984 game was fun.   After the game, the LB players and fans were all shouting "What do we eat?  Bruin Meat?   How do we eat it?   RAW!"

Never thought LB would nearly beat a team that had totally destroyed Illinois in the Rose Bowl game the year before.

When did they disband their football program?

After the 1991 season, and ironic enough the last game was a road game against CS Fullerton, who would disband their football program after the next season.

More irony, that 1992 CS Fullerton team played Georgia on the road.   Who was one of Georgia's RB's?    Yep, former LB State freshman RB in 1991, and future NFL and Super Bowl MVP and HOFer, Terrell Davis.

You stay away from that stuff, Tank. The next kidney stone may be the size of a golf ball.

Oh, I haven’t had one since July of 2016. Not even tempted. Three kidney stone surgeries will do that to a fella.

From the "dumbest ways to cost your team a game" department is this gem from tonight's Ole Miss - Mississippi State game. The Rebels scored a touchdown with four seconds remaining in regulation while trailing 21-14. Ole Miss WR Elijah Moore received a 15-yard unsportmanlike conduct penalty for crawling like a dog in the end zone and hiking his leg pretending to urinate. The Rebels missed the PAT after the penalty and lost 21-20.

Good Lord, the ACC is terrible. Clemson will play the winner of #24 Va Tech (who lost to BC & Duke) and unranked Virginia in the conference championship game.

what a joke.

In vintage ACC fashion, it will be unranked Virginia, who broke a 15-year losing streak to Virginia Tech.

I am trying to imagine the memories that the seniors on the Ole Miss squad will have of their final Egg Bowl game. How would you like to carry that around for the rest of your life?
