The same whatever reason that Ohio St. leaped over LSU two weeks ago. Just the way the teams looked. LSU was dominant against a higher ranked team while OSU was down most of the game against a lesser opponent.

hopefully they'll get to face each other in the championship game and settle it there.

Championship game is in New Orleans. Ohio St fans do travel well though.

yeah, they certainly do. have been greatly impressed any time they play in the rose bowl with how many fans make the trip west.

Heisman Trophy finalists 2019: Joe Burrow, Justin Fields, Chase Young, Jalen Hurts heading to New York
https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/heisman-trophy-finalists-2019-joe-burrow-justin-fields-chase-young-jalen-hurts-heading-to-new-york/

Burrow is the favorite, 4,715 passing yards, 289 rushing yards, 77.9% completions, and 48/6 TDs/INTs ratio.

Hurts combined for nearly 5,000 yards (3,634 passing, 1,255 rushing).   Definitely has risen his NFL draft stock, with the transfer to Okie land.    Another Lamar Jackson, potentially?

Fields had a beyond ridiculous 40/1 TDs/INTs ratio.    Has that ever been done before?

Hurts gets runner-up, Fields 3rd, Young 4th.

Would have been something had Hurts had a good enough year to win it. That would have made three Oklahoma transfers to win the Heisman. Two firsts and a second is still pretty good.

Just curious if anyone has heard any news about the coaching vacancies at Fresno State and New Mexico. Both jobs are open, yet several sites that track this stuff don't even list them.

from where?

the IE.

"Although Flowe took an official visit to Oregon in late November, rumors swirled that he had silently committed to Clemson in the summer and was all but a lock to choose the Tigers."

"That sentiment changed following his visit, and by mid-December speculation grew that Oregon could be the landing spot."

Looks like someone got a personal visit from Phil Knight.
