Buster Olney was talking about another change they are implementing. 

Pitchers have to break contact with the rubber in order to attempt a pick off.  I dig that idea.  A big reason the running game has disappeared is that pitchers  have gotten very good at holding runners.   This should lead to more steals, hit and runs, and fewer double plays.

They are on a pretty good run since the asinine 'ban the shift' one. Since they are testing out one of my favorite proposed rule changes I'd like to see them test another, eliminating timeout. No need to wait for a baserunner to tie his shoe, or to go give his shoulder armor back to the first base coach.
