I still make that Heaney trade.  It's frustrating that it took the Angels this long to find a worthy replacement, but Heaney was a Top 20 Prospect and the best LHP prospect in the game at the time.  If you can trade a 30-something 2B for that, you do it.  And Heaney hasn't been the healthiest, but when he is, he's been a rock-solid mid-rotation starter.

In reference to the Heaney trade, of course you make the trade. Howie had one year left on his contract at the time meaning he could have been an Angel in any of the past few seasons even with the trade. That said, he's always been someone I've followed and rooted for  so good for him
