I think some folks are premature in assuming Rengifo will be heading back to the Land of Zion soon. He's getting ABs so the Angels can make an informed decision about whether he's going to stick around awhile. If he contributes the right kind of chemistry (offense), he just might stay.

Auditioning him for a trade?

As horrible as this team has played at times, it's incredible that they're only 3 games out. Seattle finally started to play like expected. The A's proving that last year was one of those years where everything during the regular season that could go right, did. Biggest surprise in the division thus far, after Seattle's ridiculous start, is that Houston isn't at least 5 games up right now.

The Blue Jay's came in hot just fresh off a sweep of the A's with their top prospect and all of that hype in tow, only to have the Angels crush all of their hopes and dreams.

It's a cruel world.

Rengifo deserves regular playing time in the majors but unfortunately he will probably be sent down once Cozart is healthy

Fletcher also deserves regular playing time and he isnt getting now with Cozart in the IL.

Tyler Skaggs, outside of his game against the Cubs where hew tweaked his ankle...

22 IP, 17 hits, 8 walks, 17 strikeout, 2.05 ERA. Granted, the Blue Jays, Rangers, Athletics, and Royals aren't exactly top-tier talent, but it's encouraging.
