The problem is that Ausmus' statistics shows he plays best only on days that are multiples of 12 and 13.

We will just need to wait for the next opportunity for Fletch to play after today.

it's his first game back and he was at 92 pitches. plus, he had just walked the leadoff hitter on 4 pitches

as much as I hate Ausmus for taking the starters out early, this was the right call. Skaggs hasn't pitched in 2 weeks and he just had to sit through that long top half.
