whats better? school as a kid or work as an adult?

was thinking today how much I hated the 8-3 of going to school, wondering what the others thought

At school, if you get up from your desk and have a hard on, the other kids just laugh at you. Do that at work in 2019 you get arrested / sued.

Yeah, but instead of smoking in the boys room, now you can smoke during the video you show the class telling them not to smoke.

I made $12 a day selling Now and Laters or Blow Pops out of my back back while at school and my only bills were buying more Now and Laters or Blow Pops.  Now I make more than $12 a day, but I have more bills.   I’ll take working as a grown up.

College > Work > Elementary School > High School > Junior High

It's all about freedom of choice for me and the ability to come and go as I please. I had that in College, not so much now that I'm tied down with work and family (not a bad thing, just more restrictive). 

Stay out all night, sleep until noon? No problem. Ditch class and go surfing? No problem. Last-minute weekend trip to Tahoe? No problem.

Work is better, but I was a dork in high school and dealt with a lot of anxiety and insecurity.

Now I'm a dork who deals with a lot of anxiety and insecurity, but I like my job.
