I just watched, with my own two eyes, Justin Anderson come in from the bullpen and allow Pearce to hit a HR. Yeah the 1B Ump botched the strike call, but you gotta buck up and throw damn strikes.

The problem is we don’t know that he’s not attempting to fix the bullpen. Could be:

1. Call to GM... how ‘bout Adell... click.

2. Call to GM... we’d need Canning to do that deal... click.

I don’t want top of the line relievers,

something like the David Hernandez deal from last year, it was a huge relief for the pen (no pun intended)
