This thread has been sadly neglected this year, but it is worth mentioning the players Trout recently passed in career fWAR: a trifecta of all-time great third basemen in George Brett, Chipper Jones, and Adrian Beltre (as well as early player George Davis). He's now on the 1st page of Fangraphs at #30 with 85.0:
