Glad to see the ruling on the student loans. Make the interest 0 or close to it or better yet get the government out of guaranteeing student loans that allow people to waste money or get worthless degrees. If the court had allowed this we’d be doing the same dance with student loans every election cycle for votes and future admins could possibly apply the ruling to other things “they” (taxpayers) pay.

The irony is that if Federal backed student loans never existed your college experience would have been affordable.

Yep, it's a cluster. Higher education is very scammy. And the loans are predatory. I'm such a dumbass now. Think of how much of a dumbass I was when I was 18 and signed a bunch of things to take out loans.

College became the institution to drive society to socialism. People who wake up every day living on someone else’s dime (loans or cash) view the world differently than those who pay their own bills. You would probably be pissed if Biden wrote off car loans after your loan is paid

I don't think it was being dumb as it was being pressured. Of course you were going to do everything you could to get into college. There probably wasn't one person who told you not to take the loans. The banks and .gov take advantage our college age kids in that position.

As long as the loans are there tuition will remain high. The loans should be capped at a low amount for now and then eventually be eliminated.

Fear not, the Supreme Court certainly isn't going to let the little 'ol 14th Amendment do what it was intended to do.  They had no trouble fast tracking this case, since we wouldn't want to inconvenience TFG.  No rush on the immunity question.  It's not like there's any court cases being put on hold, and we wouldn't want to risk a chance of a felony conviction for a candidate before an election.
