better than he was before yes, but I was more thinking if Ohtani was available to pinch hit, we would use him in the highest leverage spot we would have. I guess with Simmons/Cozart up it wasn't going to work out.

but if Young comes up later with men on that would ideal time to pinch hit Ohtani and put Calhoun in defense.

What happened to the offense that was so fun to watch in the first 16 games of the season? We got a glimpse of it in Game 2 of the Astros series, but outside of that, I don't think the Angels have scored more than 4 runs in a game since April 15.
