Kidding aside, I do wonder if the game before he pitches does end up being the most likely of his non starts where he pinch hits.

I don't mean to be a downer but is anyone worried about Ramirez's lack of velocity?  Fastball which normally sits at 97-98 is only at 91-92. Unfortunately my spider sense is tingling.....

 I hate to say this but I think he is injured.  No bite on offspeed pitches. No velocity. Hope I'm wrong.

More concerned about the lack of command.   It was the improvement in that area that fueled his success as an Angel.

Ramirez, like Bedrosian, has seen a sharp drop in velocity. No surprise that both look terrible and their stuff looks terrible

Something is wrong because he was hitting mid 90's in ST. Now he's low 90's, averaging 93 MPH, down from 95 MPH last season. In this one he's hitting just 90-92 on the gun. Slider looks flat.
