Ha. My brother and I were just talking about this. He left his bag of seeds in the car that day and kept them in his trunk the entire season. He broke them open after Game 7 in the parking lot.

I was at that game as well.   I also remember a game right around that time where Salmon hit a walk off grand slam I think against Cleveland in extra innings.

April 4th 1997.  Salmon was having a rough night.  Cleveland went ahead by two in the 11th.  Angels loaded the bases with no outs, Salmon came up and hit a grand slam walk off.  This was obviously during a tough time for the Angels.  I remember around that time they had quarter hot dog night against Cleveland.
