nice. i remember hearing the double sonic boom whenever the shuttle came in for a landing. that was kind of exciting to hear.

Starship being stacked on the booster above the orbital launch mount tonight. This is the same mechanism SpaceX will utilize for repeated launches of Starship. They are years ahead of the competition.

SpaceX Plans to Launch Falcon Rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Friday

Liftoff of the Space Exploration Technologies booster, standing 230 feet tall, reportedly will aim for liftoff between 7:20 a.m. and 11:37 a.m, according to a mariners’ notice warning boater to remain out of the area off the southern half of Vandenberg. 

On Thursday, SpaceX confirmed liftoff of the rocket with 50 satellites would aim for 9:12 a.m.  These missions typically have an instantaneous window to ensure proper placement in space.
