Valbuena / Marte are the same....and they both blow.

CJ Cronic was a beast during spring training 2016...which made Chuck Finley to proclaim that he'd make our lineup powerful. Now...he can't even hit AAA pitchers.

He is batting .333 this month. That is pretty good. A .250 batting average for Espinosa is good, so he is overachieving so far this month.

Albert at third is pretty hard to swallow... him at 4th is probably worse. At third he is that huge double play risk who isn't hitting. At 4th he is that guy who clogs the bases if he gets on, or more likely, leads off the inning with an out. In some ways Scioscia batting him third is a good way of mitigating the problem without having to go through the emotional drama that comes with moving him down to 6th (which is probably the most ideal spot now).

Agreed on 6th...5th would be i guess passable

Hate to give calzone giggles, but nail on head. Pujols has been lost at the plate for weeks...having him bat with a runner on is bad news right now.

Id move simmons and escobar in front of him. His ego will take a hit...but id imagine the double plays, Ks, pop outs and groundouts are doing that already. 

Its almost better long term he circles the drain...the more he feels he doesnt have it anymorr, the more its not fun at all....and the sooner he prefers time with his family and money than on the road being the one people are blaming.

He can't be that old, it was about five years ago, he had a high school age son who was apparently a decent high school wrestler.
