I'm glad to see Fontana in there instead of Espinosa. This lineup looks a tad better, although we really need to see more from Valbuena and Calhoun.

Trout has to be incredibly frustrated playing here right now. If the offense was even remotely pulling their weight they probably lead the 2nd WC now, at least.

Trout is on pace for 410 total bases, which would tie him with Lou Gehrig (1931 season) for 17th place all-time.

His season highest so far is 339, in 2015.

Ruth still holds the all-time single season record of 457, set in 1921.

Doubt he'll get there since pitchers will be chickens and not give Trout any good pitches over the heart of the plate to hit.
