Valbuena batting clean up is the real wow ... must be because he bats LH.

Not such a wow if you read the names of 5 through 9. Unless Maldonado could handle the pressure, and there's no reason to test that theory yet, Valbuena is the only guy in this lineup relatively fit to back up the top three.

Calhoun would be my pick

GO HALOS!!! Go Matt Shoemaker!!!

Extend the winning streak to 3 games, Shoe!! Push the Angels to 2 games above .500!

Go Mike Trout!! No need to stop now with the AL Player of the Month thing.

You have April; go out and clinch May.

Go supporting players!!! Give Mike runners to drive in. Get on base, so he can drive you in.

Maldonado has been steady.

Calhoun, Simmons, Valbuena, Espinosa, Pennington are all hitting .220 and below in May.

Peenington is hitting .267 with a .358 obp for the season. In May he is hitting .321/.406/.328/.728

Yep, between him and Maldonado I don't look at 7-9 as being as bad as others do.  The real shit show is the performance of Calhoun and Valbuena.  Espinosa's days are numbered.

Valbuena could be in some jeopardy for AB's when Escobar comes back if he is still struggling and Cron is raking at SLC....Same applies to Marte....My guess is they'll give Espinosa until sometime in June (which is only a week away) to wake up....not having a prospect close to the bigs to replace him probably gives him a little longer leash......He looked awful in his PH AB last night....

I think Pennington is going walk the plank very shortly.

Stand corrected.

Peenington needs to hit the weight room with that putrid slugging.

Everyone else I believe I was spot on.

On the contrary, Calhoun, Espinosa, Valbuena all need to pick Pennington's brain on how to get their ass on first base. All muscle and no brains isn't helping the offense at all.
