Albert Pujols (hamstring) is not in the Angels' lineup Friday.

The Mets have lost 7 straight, they are decimated by injuries, have the worst ERA in MLB at 5.13 but deGrom is currently their best SP although not as effective as he was.  Mike Conforto is a dangerous hitter, so exercise caution with him.  Defensively the Mets are challenged.  Granderson has no arm in CF, so take the extra base. Flores is not a 3B, Walker & Reyes have diminished range, and they have exhibited mental lapses on the bases.  They have issues in their bullpen with their closer Familia on the 60 day DL.  They are reeling currently, and their manager Terry Collins who you are familiar with is a horrible in game strategy manager with bullpen and bench decision making.

Tonight the Mets have their best SP going but their starters haven't been more than 5 - 6 IP and their bullpen has some real weak links.

Their offense is dependent on the HR otherwise they are station to station with some real low BAs in their lineup on a regular basis.

Bad feeling about this game. Mets players have a .330 average vs Nolasco with 13 hr's in 181 ab's. The good news is that David Wright has 6 of those hr's, and he is not playing.

The Mets are familiar with Nolasco from his days as a Marlin.  David Wright is done, permanently on the 60 day DL, but he should be on the bench.

he's out with hamstring issues according to fletcher. maybe they just don't trust his body to hold up if he plays the field, though.

Albert was removed early from Wednesday's game with a tight hamstring.

He is maybe availiable as a pinch hitter, probably can't play 1B today.

Not sure how serious Albert's hamstring is or whether he is safe to run.

Better to exercise caution so as not to worsen this.

The Mets are ripe to be beaten.  Will they exhibit a little dead cat bounce returning home after a 0 for 6 road trip or will they continue to rollover and play dead?

Scioscia on the pre-game show says Albert is day-to-day but very close. He'll play first when he's healthy enough.

Looking at the lineup, you wonder why teams don't walk Trout more often. No disrespect to them but Calhoun, Maybin, Cron, and Pujols have all been letdowns so far this year after all had good 2016 seasons with the bat.
