Here is what I don't get.  The Angels have made a point of shoring up the defense over the last couple of seasons.  It was like a like went on regarding run prevention.  Then we have Escobar.  Who flies in the face of everything the Angels were doing.

I hate poor defenders.

For a guy in a contract year, he looks like he doesn't want to play past this season. Really hard to believe this guy was once a ss. These days he is a 3 tool player. Meaning he can lose games for you with his fielding,throwing, and baserunning.
